Why 2018 is the year to start a new business 

With the recession finally coming to an end, many entrepreneurs are starting to have hope once again. Phillip Thow says that 2011 is the year to start a new business thanks to all of the good news out there for business owners like new product development, online business ventures, and lenders starting to pass out money again.
As you begin with a business plan, you need to have a key product or key service that is in the middle of it. This will allow you to build everything around your business. A good product will attract people from all over and it will allow you to create a strong company with customers all over the planet. Of course in today's world the products are built a little differently, many of them follow a different product development cycle. Phillip Thow explains that this new cycle is designed to deliver a product in the shortest amount of time and then to add updates to it later. For example, how many times have you purchase software and brought it home only to have it update to the latest version? Take a look at Apple and their like of iPod products, these have all had substantial upgrades over the past few years and continue to add more features with each version.
In 2011 you may have some lenders that are anxious to get new clients and offer you funds for your business but then you have some lenders that see new business ventures as a huge risk to their organization. Phillip Thow says you need to start with thousands of dollars initially instead of asking lenders for hundreds of thousands. What is the minimum amount you need just to get started? Why not lease equipment and hire contract workers as you start building the business? Then you can move into larger loans when the company already has a strong cash flow established.
Develop your own management style. Many entrepreneurs tend to mimic what they have dealt with as employees and this doesn't always pan out the way you would like. Phillip Thow says that if you would like to succeed, you need to create your own management style and one that you feel comfortable with. If you have a laid-back approach, just know that some of your employees may take advantage of this and it won't always help your organization to be productive. Always remember the customer-first approach in order for your business to become a success.
